P-O-R-T--LAND!!

So, I've been in Portland almost 3 weeks now and I am absolutely loving it! My roommate arrived about a week after I did and we've been exploring the city non-stop. There are so many things to do that I feel like I'll never be able to see and do everything! (Which is a far cry from Kansas)

Here are some of my favorite finds so far: Voodoo Doughnuts--They're open 24 hours!!!

Portland City Grill -- A restaurant up on the 30th floor! Amazing view of the entire city!!!

And, of course Powell's Books--largest independent bookstore in the country.

I found an amazing church which my roommate and I have become involved with--Imago Dei Community!-- The people that I have met have been so authentic and the pastor is really theologically sound. The church offers so many ministry opportunities, that it is very easy to become involved and also meet new people. It's crazy to find a church that seems to have it all.

My only source of anxiety is my joblessness. I've been applying for jobs every day and have been praying about it and I feel like an opportunity is going to come to me soon, I'm just not sure how long I will have to wait. But, I do trust that God will take care of me and will provide when the timing is right. So, any prayers about this situation would be greatly appreciated!
