My life is C-R-A-Z-Y

So, I'm finally writing on here again, after a very, very long break. Here's a little update on my life for the last 6 weeks: I got a customer service job and went through all of the training just to find out that my second day on the job, everyone in my department was getting laid off (almost 200 people). I have great timing, right? Anyway, I am very relieved because I didn't really enjoy the job that much. There were aspects of it that I liked, but I didn't feel like it was what I was supposed to be doing.

Now, I have two unpaid music internships. One is with a nat'l tour booking agency called Haywire Booking and its basically a 4-month program that I will complete. After I have gone through all 3 levels of the internship, I will become a free-lance booking agent through Haywire. My other internship is with a local musician named Summer. I'm helping her with publicity, selling merch, tour stuff, promotion, management stuff, etc. We actually just got back from a show she was playing in Lincoln City, OR. (about 2 hrs from Portland on the Coast!) Our hotel was right on the beach!! It was amazing.

I also just bought a keyboard so I can practice playing and also start recording some songs onto my computer. I'm really excited about that too!!

Well, I will write more later. I need to go get ready to help set up at Summer's concert in the park tonight.
